About Us

I’m David Cole and The Growing Room, Inc. has been my passion for more than eight years. Perhaps, I should say that creating designs for corporate interior landscapes has been my passion. When I look at an entry to corporate offices, I ask myself: “What kind of plants would look best here? What would make this interior space sparkle? Would a splash of color add life over there? Will a tree solve a problem and look terrific?”

Background

My background includes earning a degree in Floriculture from the Essex Agricultural and Technical Institute and a degree in Plant and Soil Sciences from the University of Vermont. I studied landscape design and upon completion of my formal education, I worked for three years as both retail and wholesale grower of annuals, perennials, tropicals, seasonal flowering plants and poinsettias. For more than 15 years, I worked for one of the area’s largest interior landscapers.

They are committed to providing excellent service, taking care of all the details of maintaining healthy and beautiful interior landscapes. We are full-insured and Growing Room, Inc. holds a Massachusetts Pesticide License, which ensures that we comply with all restrictions and requirements regarding the use of pesticides.
